Renew your membership for the 2025-2026 Season!

Our updated 2025-2026 Membership Data Card is now available online. To join or renew membership to the MMSSL, make sure to fill out the online form (AND submit a signed Proof of Approval from the head of your team's school), and submit your League dues by November 1st or by your first tournament. 

The Massachusetts Middle School Speech League is an organization dedicated to developing self-confidence, communication skills, and critical thinking in middle school students (grades 6 through 8) through competitive public speaking activities.  The league assists in organizing tournaments throughout the school year that accept entries from member schools.  For more information on how your school may join the league, please see "Joining" above.

If you are interested in middle school debate, the Boston Debate League at www.bostondebate.org will have three middle school tournaments that will be hosted at Boston schools.  Additionally, Josh Cohen in Newton is looking to organize another opportunity for middle school debate.
